In about two weeks it will be time for myself and the fellow record label mates NARC to make the drive up to a secluded cabin awaiting us in the woods. Two different albums are scheduled to be made in 2 weeks. This will be Narc 's 1st record and technically my 2nd official record.
As of now we are gathering all of the recording equipment needed for the retreat. We have decided to use all analog gear because we have a strong belief that live performance is an energy only capable of being captured by tape, as opposed to the newly popular way of recording in the digital domain. There is just something about tape that really puts good butterfly feelings in your tummy when you hear it played back.
I could not be more stoked to help the fellow All Welcome Records label mates NARC in recording there 1st album.
Personally I really have no idea in which direction my record will be going, but none the less I am excited to be away from the everyday city distractions. Lets see where it goes.
